My First Company, To..Points
Right now I'm in the process of founding a company called ToPoints. Initially it will be a one-man consultancy. I've been talking and thinking a lot about this, and now I'm finally going to do it. Apart from giving me bureaucratic benefits related to being a Dutch citizen, it will also be a holding for my cool projects like confabio.com.
I mocked up a quick logo and website at topoints.com:
The name 'To Points' has the following meaning:
- to the point
- 2 point ohh, as in Web 2.0
- to point at actual works, rather then bullshit jargon
- 2 as in binary, 2 points as in the two dots in your web address
Personal note (hmmz, twitter?): This week I'm moving out of my Amsterdam 'apartment', next week I will fly to Shanghai and work there for a while. This will be my new temporary address:
